Jurisprudence and Islamic law Islamic Studies / Jurisprudence and Islamic law

Fiqh and Islamic law are two closely related fields in Islamic studies.
Fiqh: It is a science that studies Sharia rulings and Sharia laws that regulate the lives of Muslims in various aspects of life, including religious rituals, business, financial and social transactions, morals, and criminal rulings. Jurisprudence depends on deriving rulings from the legal texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah, as well as inferring rulings using the principles of ijtihad, analogy, approval, and inference from legal evidence.
Islamic Sharia: It includes all Sharia laws, regulations and rules that come from Islamic texts and guarantee guidance and directives for Muslims. Sharia is composed of the main sources of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah (the sayings of the Prophet and the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace), in addition to the provisions of consensus, approval and analogy.
