Among the important periods and events in Islamic history:
The Prophetic Era: It includes the life period of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, from his birth in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the year 570 AD until his death in Medina in the year 632 AD. This period witnessed the emergence of Islam, the transmission of the message, and the establishment of the first Islamic state in Medina.
The Rightly Guided Caliphate: It is the period of the four caliphate who succeeded the Prophet Muhammad in ruling the Muslims, and they are Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Omar Bin Al-Khattab, Othman Bin Affan, and Ali Bin Abi Talib. This period includes the era of stability and the rapid spread of Islam.
Islamic Expansion: The period between the seventh and the tenth centuries AD witnessed the expansion of the Islamic state from the Arabian Peninsula to large parts of Asia, Africa and Europe.
The Abbasid, Umayyad, Mamluk, and Ottoman Islamic states: Many states, disputes, and Islamic states have witnessed in history, including the Abbasid state in Baghdad, the Umayyad state in Damascus, the Mamluk state in Egypt, and the Ottoman state in Turkey.
Islamic influence on science and culture: This period witnesses the growth of science, philosophy, literature and the arts in Islamic countries, as well as the influence of Islamic culture on the Western world.
